New role: Associate Professor at Politecnico di Torino

A new step in the journey
I am thrilled to share that, starting July 2026, I am an Associate Professor of Robot and Machine Learning at Politecnico di Torino.It has been an incredible ride so far, from the post-doc years between Pisa, IIT and MIT, to the tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Turin, leading our research group on Robot Learning at the Vandal Lab.This new role is, first and foremost, a recognition of the fantastic work of the whole team. None of this would have been possible without the PhD students, collaborators and co-authors who push our research forward every single day.We will keep pushing the boundaries of how robots learn from humans, understand the world around them, and act in it, safely and effectively.
